Certified Aviation Services Partners with Boeing Global Fleet Care
Ontario, California August 14, 2017 -- Certified Aviation Services LLC, (CAS) is proud to announce the signing of a service agreement with Boeing Global Fleet Care, formerly known as GoldCare. CAS will provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services in the U.S. for Boeing’s after- market support system. Under the agreement, CAS will provide scheduled maintenance operations in support of the 737 MAX and 787 Dreamliner.
CAS Components Appoints Mrs. Singleton to Oversee Customer Service
Ontario, California August 7, 2017 -- CAS Components (a division of Certified Aviation Services, LLC), has appointed April Singleton as its Director of Customer Service. Mrs. Singleton joins CAS components from her most recent position at UTC Aerospace Systems where she held the title of Customer Support Team Leader. During that role, Mrs. Singleton had the responsibility of managing all of the customer support representatives. Mrs. Singleton brings over 15 years of exceptional customer service experience in the Aerospace Industry.
CAS Announces Senior Management Changes to Support Expansion
Ontario, California July 31, 2017 -- Certified Aviation Services, LLC (CAS) today announced senior management changes within the organization. Given the growth CAS has seen, Brad Caban has been appointed to President of CAS Components, effective immediately. This will allow Mr. Caban, previous President of CAS, to solely focus on growing the components facility located in Fairhope, Alabama.
Michael Turpin was promoted to the new position of Managing Director of the Recovery, Repairs and Modifications Business Unit. Mr. Turpin will be responsible for overseeing both domestic and international recovery, repairs, modifications and any other duties related to AOG.
Certified Aviation Services Completes MD11 Part-Out and Teardown
Ontario, California May 22, 2017 -- Certified Aviation Services, LLC (CAS) is pleased to announce the completion of a part-out and teardown of an MD11 in Asia. The team removed 400 high value line items for their customer. CAS Go-Team was responsible for the teardown of the aircraft and CAS Components was responsible for the tagging and packaging. The items were shipped to the component repair shop located in Fairhope, Alabama for disposition. CAS utilized the Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association(AFRA) Best Management Practice (BMP) guide 3.2, to complete the disassembly and recycling of the aircraft. The combination of both teams allowed CAS to provide the most effective and efficient full service for its customer.
Certified Aviation Services Announces Exclusive MRO Service Agreement with APOC Aviation Europe
Ontario, CA April 28, 2017 -- Certified Aviation Services, LLC (CAS) is proud to announce its signing of an exclusive business agreement with APOC Aviation Europe to become their strategic partner in North America. CAS Receives FAA AMT Diamond Award of Excellence
Certified Aviation Services, LLC (CAS) Components was awarded the 2016 Federal Aviation Adminsitration (FAA) AMT Diamond Award of Exellence. The Diamond Award of Excellence is the industry's highest honor for aircraft maintenance. To qualify for the award, 100 percent of an organization's eligible maintenance technicians must complete specialized, continuous training in aircraft systems, regulations, and FAA rules over a 12-month period. This prestigious award is designed to encourage corporations and their employees to take advantage of training opportunities, through both initial and recurrent training.

CAS Aircraft Services names Mike Stafford General Manager of Line Maintenance
Certified Aviation Services, LLC (CAS) proudly announces the appointment of Mike Stafford to General Manager of Line Maintenance. Mr. Stafford will be responsible for managing the company’s eleven line maintenance stations while also growing CAS’ MRO line maintenance services. Mr. Stafford has over 27 years of aviation experience and joins CAS from his most recent position as Regional Manager of MRO Sales at United Airlines.

The new approval enables CAS (FAA 8MAR982B/ EASA.145.6405) the opportunity to support the cargo operator’s component maintenance requirements directly as well as indirectly through authorized third party parts suppliers.

Certified Aviation Services, LLC will once again participate at Aviation Week’s MRO Americas as an exhibitor (Floor Number 3516). This year’s MRO Americas will mark the first event at which CAS will promote its aircraft and component services under a common brand – Certified Aviation Services (CAS). The event will be held April 5-7 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas.
CAS Expands Line Maintenance Operations at LAX
Certified Aviation Services, LLC acquired the aircraft maintenance business of an undisclosed competitor at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on March 1, 2016. The acquisition – which includes five (5) new airline line maintenance ground handling agreements – solidifies CAS’ position as the largest independent MRO provider at LAX. The company’s operations at LAX now exceed 100 Certified A&P mechanics supporting more than 50 aircraft movements per day.
CAS Opens European Sales Office in The Netherlands, Hires Robbert de Jong as Sales Manager Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA)
Certified Aviation Services, LLC is pleased to announce the opening of a new sales office in Groet Netherlands. The European office will serve as a local point of contact for customers in the region.
The office in Groet will be managed by newly appointed Sales Manager EMEA Robbert de Jong. Mr. de Jong has twenty-five (25) years of experience in the aviation industry, holding positions at Martinair, Stella Aviation, Fokker Services, Fast Forward Freight, and Amsterdam Pilot Shop. Mr. de Jong’s extensive aviation experience across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa further enhances CAS’ geographic capabilities for aircraft and component services.
CAS Component Services names Geoff Myrick Vice President of Sales
Certified Aviation Services, LLC proudly announces the appointment of Geoff Myrick to its newly created position of Vice President of Sales, Component Services. Mr. Myrick will be responsible for the Company’s Component MRO strategy and sales growth across existing and new markets. Mr. Myrick joins CAS from his most recent position at VT Mobile Aerospace Engineering (VT MAE) where he served as Director of Marketing and Sales. Mr. Myrick holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Alabama and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of South Alabama.
Aero-mark MRO LLC (AMRO) Rebranding as CAS
Certified Aviation Services, LLC is pleased to announce the rebranding of Aero-mark MRO, LLC (AMRO) as CAS. The Fairhope based component MRO (FAA 8MAR982B/ EASA.145.6405) has completed updates to its operating certificates and will begin doing business as CAS with immediate effect. The new “DBA” serves to align the company’s component services with its broad suite of aircraft services, which includes line maintenance, engine washing, and remote aircraft maintenance and modification.
